Sitemaps in the wild
Guardian news sitemap
A Google News sitemap: recent articles only, each carrying the news extension with a publication and a publication date.
A news sitemap is the time-bounded corner of the protocol — only the last two days belong in it, and older entries are expected to be removed rather than accumulated.
It is the working example of the news extension elements, which almost no other public sitemap uses.
