Government and public sector

New UK legislation feed

Every piece of UK legislation as it is published, as an Atom feed — with the legislation itself available as XML behind each entry.

legislation.gov.uk is one of the best public XML estates in existence: the law is published as structured data, not as PDFs, and the feed is the front door to it.

The entries use Atom's extension points heavily, which makes this a good document for seeing what a feed looks like when someone uses the format properly rather than minimally.
