News and media

New York Times front page

A large, extension-heavy news feed — Dublin Core, media, and per-item categories on top of the RSS core.

Where the BBC feed is minimal, this one is maximal: several extension namespaces at once, and items carrying far more metadata than RSS itself defines.

That makes it the better example for seeing how namespaces behave in a real document, and why an XPath expression written without prefixes finds nothing.
