XML namespace
MathML
The namespace for mathematical notation in standalone MathML and embedded XML vocabularies such as JATS and EPUB.
xmlns:m="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"The namespace covers presentation structures such as mrow, mfrac, msqrt, and token elements, plus the broader MathML vocabulary. Standalone XML documents normally declare it as the default on <math>.
A prefix such as m: is useful when MathML is embedded inside another default-namespaced vocabulary. The prefix can change; XPath, validation, and transformations must match this URI.
