XML namespace
UBL 2 Invoice
The root namespace for a UBL invoice, the basis of most European e-invoicing mandates.
xmlns="urn:oasis:names:specification:ubl:schema:xsd:Invoice-2"UBL splits its vocabulary across several namespaces: this one for the document type, plus CommonBasicComponents (cbc:) for leaf values and CommonAggregateComponents (cac:) for structures. A UBL invoice therefore always declares at least three namespaces.
Peppol BIS and most national e-invoicing profiles are constraint layers on top of these schemas, so a document can be schema-valid UBL and still be rejected by a network's own rules.
